Welcome to Froddo and Daisy Duck

Coney and Rosa were on hand to welcome the new guests that have just arrived from Iowa. Froddo hopped over from Australia and Daisy Duck is visiting America from Great Britain. Both of these voyagers are traveling the US Toy Voyagers Trail.

It was discovered soon after they arrived that it is the second trip to New Mexico in the past few months. They were recently visiting at Red River.

Updates from Coney and all

Early this evening Coney called from Kuwait to let us know he will soon be arriving in New Mexico for his R&R before moving on to his next deployment. He will also be updating his travel log. Since we know where he currently is I thought it would be good to update on everyones activities.

Lucky-Ducky is enjoying an extended stay in Finland but is quite busy and updates his travelog frequently.

Florence the flighty flamingo from Florida was supposed to have left Prague and headed to Germany a few weeks ago but she has not reported in yet. Hopefully she has not gotten lost and we look forward to a travel log update.

Picado last reported in from Singapore and was leaving to go to Switzerland. We are waiting to hear news of his arrival and an update to his travel log.

Morado has arrived safely in Munich and will likely meet up with Florence when she arrives there. He will update his travel log soon.

Blanche is still staying with her host in Indiana but has travelled around to New York and Chicago and seems to be having a lot of fun. She has a lengthy post of photos on her travel log.

Azul is still missing and has not called home or checked in since he wandered off at the July 4th parade. There are no current updates in his travel log.

Rosa is winding down from her travels with Ballet Cindy and hosting other guests. She enjoyed her travels to Utah and Colorado and was excited to be made voyager of the week on Toy Voyagers. Her travel log has lots of info.

Postcards and Diarys

It was great to hear from Lucky Ducky who is still enjoying his holiday in Finland. We got the following postcard from him this week.

Ballet Cindy is now ready to travel some more and visit a new host on the USATVT and has updated her journal and started packing.

Rosa is relaxing after almost 2 weeks of traveling to Utah, Colorado and back to New Mexico with Ballet Cindy.

Rosa makes Voyager of the Week on Toy Voyagers

Congratulations to Rosa, our Voyager of the Week!

Rosa comes from a distinguished family of ToyVoyagers: she is one of six , the famous Travelling Conejo's of New Mexico.

Thanks to their mentor, wourpet, all six Conejo siblings are proving 'ones to watch' on our View Voyagers screens.

With brothers in Canada, Iraq (with the U.S.Army), and Singapore, another brother who has run off solo in search of adventure, and a sister just preparing to visit ToyVoyager Hosts, Rosa stays at home, showing us the sights and welcoming visiting ToyVoyagers.

Here she is with an 'earthship', an eco-friendly home made of recycled materials.

We wish her and her siblings well, and lots more adventures. We look forward to the Conejo family reunion when they are all safely back from their individual journeys.

Rain temporarily stalls the Adventurers

Rosa, Budd and Henry patiently wait inside the travel trailer for the rain to end so they can get back outside.

Henry had fun exploring old ruins near the site of the Ludlow Massacre in Colorado and an extinct volcano in New Mexico. Budd enjoyed plenty of awesome scenery along the Sangre de Cristo mountains range, tended the campfire and went fishing in Trinidad Lake, while Rosa toured the town of Trinidad, Colorado and did some shopping.
