Rosa makes Voyager of the Week on Toy Voyagers

Congratulations to Rosa, our Voyager of the Week!

Rosa comes from a distinguished family of ToyVoyagers: she is one of six , the famous Travelling Conejo's of New Mexico.

Thanks to their mentor, wourpet, all six Conejo siblings are proving 'ones to watch' on our View Voyagers screens.

With brothers in Canada, Iraq (with the U.S.Army), and Singapore, another brother who has run off solo in search of adventure, and a sister just preparing to visit ToyVoyager Hosts, Rosa stays at home, showing us the sights and welcoming visiting ToyVoyagers.

Here she is with an 'earthship', an eco-friendly home made of recycled materials.

We wish her and her siblings well, and lots more adventures. We look forward to the Conejo family reunion when they are all safely back from their individual journeys.

Ballet Cindy has Dancing feet

Cindy has recieved not just a new ballet outfit but also a pair of ballet slippers so her feet have been doing a lot of dancing and she has been having trouble keeping them on the ground.

Blanche arrives in Indiana

Blanche has arrived in Indiana and met a few new friends, She will be heading into Chicago in a few days.

She was quite nervous before venturing off but seems to be relaxed and enjoying her visit.

Blanche gets ready to Travel

Blanche has been sitting around the house since her arrival in March and although she has been in a few group photos and occasional walks in the vegetable garden, she has done little else. She has now set up her travel log and is ready to hit the road. We'll update you when she leaves with information on her travel itinerary.

New Guests arrive

The toys gathered around yesterday to welcome our new arrivals, Ballet Cindy and Holiday Harry. Ballet Cindy belongs to 5 year old Wendy in the Netherlands and is traveling around the world sending home cheer and well wishes to Wendy who is currently in the hospital battling leukemia.

Florence still in Prague

Florence sent a PM this morning and said she was ready to move on even though she is really enjoying her visit in Prague. I checked her travelog and there is no doubt she has seen and done a lot during her stay.

I believe she is going to Germany next and if she times it right she might even make it to Oktoberfest.

Henry -- Voyager of the Week

Along with Wourpet and Picado both making it to the top ten lists (Picado is #4 on miles travelled) our guest Henry also made the news.

Henry's idol is Indiana Jones, and he is always looking out for ways to emulate his hero's on-screen antics.

Created by Drakie, Henry is currently being hosted by wourpet in New Mexico. He has also travelled to Colorado to see ghost towns and has enjoyed seeing incredible scenery and getting to do lots of exciting missions. He's even been inside a volcano!

Lucky-Ducky rides the train

"I went on a train!

We took a small ride on a train Only to the next stop and back - but I was on a train! The photos are from the Helsinki Main Railway Station and it's surroundings.

Florence visits Prague

"6th August 2007 - Prague, Czech Republic

Today I finally visited the city center. Behind me you can see the Petřín hill, the National Theatre and the Prague Castle.

Then I went on Smetana's Embankment, where I saw Krammer's fountain - a monument dedicated to Francis II, Holy Roman Emperor."

Picado arrives in Singapore

Picado is now traveling around Singapore with his host and attending University.

His travels have moved him up to 4th position for miles travelled on Toy Voyagers.

Coney sends more pictures

We were happy to receive some photos from Coney yesterday. It appears he's been quite busy.

Coney is now patrolling with the Armored Division

In the photo below you can see the large container on the right where Coney spent his first several days in Baghdad.

The fluffy white guy he met up with on base is Wuffy II and although not a Toy Voyager, he will be spending some time in Iraq before returning Stateside.
